| Name: | Hope Esther Sadako Xavier Lensherr |
|---|---|
| Birthdate: | May 14 |
She may be due to a bit of genetic jiggery pokery, she may be due to the Carrier Gene, she may be adopted, she's not telling, and no one else is either.
Well, really she likes to pretend to be an enigma, but the actual story is quite simple, if a little unbelievable.
Once upon a time, Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr (by way of a vortex) found themselves flung some fifty years into the future, not just the future, but also to a world where mutants and other meta-humans weren't just commonplace, but were, in fact, the majority of the population.
Charles was quick to see this as a blessing, and equally quick to make friends. One of these was a perpetually-young woman by the name of Sadako. While she wasn't the first to point out that the kinship between the two men might run deeper than they thought, she was by far the most convincing.
She was also, in the end, the one who bore their child, the perfect combination of their DNA. Even as an infant Hope had her father's eyes, clear and blue, and her papa's smile, broad and oddly predatory.
Hope was a quiet, pensive child, she went to school and she got good marks. She joined the track team because she loved to run, she joined the debate team because she loved to play Devil's Advocate and she joined the chess team simply because she loved the game.
What she didn't learn from school she learned from her parents and the occasional tutor, all in all she had a well-rounded education and a gift for languages, both spoken and written.
Her particular power is a cellular photographic memory. Which is to say that she can mimic any surface she touches and gets a feel for. Wood? Do you want solid oak or bendy balsa? Metal? Tempered steel or tinfoil? Plastic? She's 100% recyclable!
An OOC note to Erik & Charles RPers - Hope was born and raised in a multi-verse location, she's aware of alternate realities and she as a character and myself as a player will never automatically claim that she's your version's child.
On the other hand: If you would like to play it that way, feel free to let me know, I'm all for it.
(Hope is an OC from the X-Men First Class universe. Sort of. Anna Christine Speckhart provides the face, I am not her, nor do I pretend to be, muse, mun and PB are all over the age of 18)
